Are you a Rebel at heart and in uniform too? If so I know you take pride in your reenacting unit and want your Confederate uniform and other gear to be as period correct as possible. Not only do you want your uniform timely but the quality of your gear is important as well. We all know the Confederate States didn't have the resources of the North but the individual soldier was very inventive when it came to his uniform. And get into uniform he did!
Maybe your expertise is in being a Confederate soldier or sailor in Civil War Living Histories? If you're into Living Histories then period correct uniforms are especially important.
